Joni Mitchell - Shadows And Light

Facts Songwriting and musicianship vied for dominance on many of Joni's LPs-especially this one, her second live album. Her jazz-inflected '70s songs get the spotlight as she shares the stage with Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius, Lyle Mays and Michael Brecker (now THAT is a band). This clocks in at over an hour and 12 minutes (it originally came out on 2 LPs): "In France They Kiss on Main Street," "Coyote," "Amelia," "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat," "Free Man in Paris," "Black Crow," "Woodstock," "Shadows and Light," "Furry Sings the Blues," "Dreamland" and more! Elektra.
